Add your Safe
Orla proposes, your Safe's owners sign
Orla reads the Safe from the chain: owners, threshold, balance and history. An approved payment becomes a Safe proposal and leaves only when the owners sign.
Orla never signs or executes. Reading is on every plan, proposing on Scale and Enterprise.
What lands in the book
A Safe is recognised by its address alone
On Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and Polygon.
- An address that turns out to be a Safe gets a Safe 2 of 3 badge and a card listing the owners and how many of them must sign, read from the chain when the account syncs. That part is on every plan.
- Waiting in Safe lists the proposals not yet signed to the threshold, with each signer named when their wallet is linked to a member. It is read only: signing happens in Safe{Wallet}.
- A payment is booked with its real transaction hash once it executed; Orla checks the Safe once an hour.
- A proposal that reverted, or was replaced by another one with the same nonce, goes back to approved with a note and a notification to whoever sent it.
- A transfer the owners sign straight in Safe{Wallet}, with no approved payment behind it, still lands in the book, is marked paid outside the space's rules in the audit trail, and the owners get one notification. Nothing is reversed: the chain obeys the owners, not Orla.
What Orla is in your Safe
A delegate: it can propose, and nothing else
There is no key to paste here. An owner signs Orla in, and an owner signs it out.
Orla inside Safe{Wallet}
Open Orla as an app inside Safe{Wallet}, by its address
In Safe{Wallet} go to Apps, add a custom app with the address https://app.orla.finance/safe-app, and open it. Orla sees the connected Safe.
Questions
The questions the owners of a Safe ask first
Can Orla sign or execute a transaction in our Safe?
No. Orla reads the Safe from the chain and, once an owner registers it as a delegate, proposes transactions. A delegate can only propose: it never signs as an owner and never executes. The owners sign to the threshold and execute in Safe{Wallet}, and Revoke takes Orla off the delegates with an owner's signature.
How do we open Orla inside Safe{Wallet}?
In Safe{Wallet} go to Apps and add a custom app with the address https://app.orla.finance/safe-app. Sign in by pairing the wallet you own the Safe with and signing a short message; only an owner of that Safe gets in. Tick the payments your team approved and press Propose in Safe.
Which plan does paying from a Safe need?
Recognising a Safe, with its badge, owners and threshold, is on every plan. The Waiting in Safe queue, registering Orla as a delegate and proposing from inside Safe{Wallet} are on Scale and Enterprise, and proposing also needs the right to execute payments. These are switched on space by space.

- Mercury →
- Orla requests a payment with a token that has no Send Money permission; an admin approves it in Mercury.
- Airwallex →
- Each currency as its own account, and a draft batch that a person submits and approves inside Airwallex.
- Slash →
- No drafts there, so a transfer is created only when your colleague presses Send via Slash after the approvals.
