# Orla proposes, your Safe's owners sign

URL: https://orla.finance/en/safe
Markdown twin of that page. Append `.md` to any Orla page URL to get one.

Orla reads the Safe from the chain: owners, threshold, balance and history. An approved payment becomes a Safe proposal and leaves only when the owners sign.

Orla never signs or executes. Reading is on every plan, proposing on Scale and Enterprise.

#### A Safe is recognised by its address alone

On Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and Polygon.

- An address that turns out to be a Safe gets a Safe 2 of 3 badge and a card listing the owners and how many of them must sign, read from the chain when the account syncs. That part is on every plan.
- Waiting in Safe lists the proposals not yet signed to the threshold, with each signer named when their wallet is linked to a member. It is read only: signing happens in Safe{Wallet}.
- A payment is booked with its real transaction hash once it executed; Orla checks the Safe once an hour.
- A proposal that reverted, or was replaced by another one with the same nonce, goes back to approved with a note and a notification to whoever sent it.
- A transfer the owners sign straight in Safe{Wallet}, with no approved payment behind it, still lands in the book, is marked paid outside the space's rules in the audit trail, and the owners get one notification. Nothing is reversed: the chain obeys the owners, not Orla.

#### A delegate: it can propose, and nothing else

There is no key to paste here. An owner signs Orla in, and an owner signs it out.

- Registering Orla: On the Safe's account page an owner pairs one of the owner wallets over WalletConnect, presses Register Orla and signs a short message in that wallet, valid for an hour.
- What a delegate can do: Propose a transaction. It cannot sign as an owner and it cannot execute, so a proposal moves nothing by itself.
- From then on: An approved payment from that account is proposed to the Safe within the hour, with no sending step, and a payout run of several payments becomes one proposal the owners sign once.
- Without a delegate: Send the approved payment from the run page, paired with Safe{Wallet}: the send becomes a proposal, and the row says in Safe, awaiting signatures.
- Who presses last: The owners: signatures up to the threshold, then execute, in Safe{Wallet}.
- Taking it back: Revoke takes Orla off the delegates, again with an owner's signature.

#### Open Orla as an app inside Safe{Wallet}, by its address

In Safe{Wallet} go to Apps, add a custom app with the address https://app.orla.finance/safe-app, and open it. Orla sees the connected Safe.

- Getting in: Pair the wallet you own the Safe with and sign a short message. Only an owner of that Safe gets in, and the session lives in that window until you sign out.
- What the page shows: The owners and the threshold, the proposals waiting in the Safe, and the payments your team already approved in Orla from that account.
- Propose in Safe: Tick the approved payments and press once: they go into the Safe's queue as one transaction, for the owners to sign right there.
- After the owners execute: Opening Orla in Safe{Wallet} again books the payment with the real transaction.
- A Safe not in your books yet: Can be added from the page as a watched account.
- What it needs: Proposing needs the Scale or Enterprise plan and the right to execute payments, and it is switched on space by space.

Your own Safe: Orla proposes and never signs. The queue and proposing are on Scale and Enterprise, switched on space by space.
