For independent creators

Four platforms in one book. Sponsors invoiced. Tax set aside as the money lands.

Dev Malhotra runs a channel, sells templates on Gumroad and an app on the App Store, alone.

Sixteen platforms paid in, one income line to read

YouTube, Gumroad and the app stores arrive with fees apart; sponsors are invoiced and reminded.

Accounts and rails in depth
Four platforms, one book, no spreadsheet

YouTube pays on the twenty-first, Gumroad every Friday, the App Store a month late. What did the month actually earn, after everyone's cut?

The tax year ready before you file

The USDC a sponsor paid is a lot with a cost of its own. Does every asset add up, does the book say what the chain says, and is the year sealed?

Every subscription on one calendar

Everything dated on one page: what is overdue, what falls this week, what is coming in, and where the balance lands at month end.

The assistant

Ask it what your tools cost you now.

Platforms pay in bursts and subscriptions creep; the composer compares the same schedule over time.

The assistant in full →

What it takes on

Subscriptions that got dearer
The same schedule compared over the months: Notion up 18% since July, and Figma added a seat.
VAT ahead of the date
The period projected from the pace of the quarter so far, and one press that sets the money aside.
Who is overdue, and what next
Each late invoice with when it was reminded and what they promised; Remind or Escalate is one press.

Who does what

One person, one accountant, and one book.

Founder
Sees four platforms as one figure, sends the sponsor's invoice, and knows the tax estimate before April.
Contractor
The editor is paid from the same book as a contact with a rail, not a seat.
Accountant
Gets the month as files and a read-only door into the closed period.

Connections

Connected the way a creator is already paid.

Earnings come in daily from eleven platforms, the bank by feed or by statement, and the month goes out as files.

  • YouTube
  • Gumroad
  • App Store
  • Lemon Squeezy
  • Google Play
  • Etsy
  • Google AdMob
  • Bandcamp

Control and trust

What a creator needs to trust the book.

Read-only keys
A platform key reads earnings and payouts and nothing else; a key with payment rights is refused.
Paper
A receipt finds its own payment; rows without paper are waived in bulk when there never was any.
Your own number
Reminders go out on WhatsApp or SMS from your own number, so the sponsor knows who is writing.
Rules
A rule written in words files the next Adobe charge the way the last one was filed, and can be undone.

Questions

The questions that come first.

Do I have to give Orla my YouTube or App Store password?

No. YouTube and the stores connect with a sign-in on the platform that grants read access to earnings; Gumroad and PayPal connect with a key you make there. A key with payment rights is refused, whatever platform it comes from.

Is the tax estimate advice?

No. It is an estimate from your own rows and the profile you set: jurisdiction, filing status, what you already paid. It is there so the amount to set aside is a figure, not a guess. Your accountant still files the return, with the rows to back it.

Does the free plan cover one creator?

The free plan has no card and no time limit, and it includes one business space to try. Paid plans start at $25 a month; any single limit can be raised with a pack instead of a plan change, so one person pays for what they use.

See it on your own books.
