Where the door stops

It reads and records. It does not move money.

The payment tools are not in the list, and are refused by name.

  • →Everything it did is in the activity trail, and one click revokes it

The reason is narrower than caution. What a connection reads was partly written by strangers: payee names, notes, imported statement lines. If a prompt hidden in one of those ever gets through, it should reach a wrong bookkeeping entry, not a transfer. An agent that genuinely needs to pay is a different thing with its own wallet and its own limits, and it lives on the agents page.

Questions

The questions the setup does not answer.

What is the MCP server URL for Orla?
https://app.orla.finance/api/mcp. A client that speaks remote MCP needs nothing else: it discovers the sign-in page by itself, and you approve which spaces it may reach on Orla's own consent page.
Can an AI assistant move my money through this?
No. Payments, transfers, swaps and card details are not in the tool list a personal connection receives, and are refused again at the endpoint if asked for by name. An agent that genuinely needs to pay is a separate thing with its own wallet and limits.
Does connecting Claude or Cursor use a seat on my plan?
No. A personal connection is not an agent: it takes no seat, so the free plan's two agent seats stay free for actual agents. Several clients can connect and they all name the same connection.
Can it write, or only read?
It can record: booking a transaction, categorising one, filing a receipt. Everything it writes is reversible and appears in the activity trail. What it cannot do is move money.
How do I disconnect it?
One row in the app, and every client connected to it stops at once. The trail of what it did stays, which is the point of having one connection rather than a key per client.
