Your books in your AI
Ask your own assistant what you spent.
The assistant you already use reads your ledger live: balances, budgets, who owes whom. Nothing is copied out, and it cannot pay.
Server URL: https://app.orla.finance/api/mcp. Sign-in happens in your browser, and the connection is one row you can revoke.
Pick your client
Seven ways in, one connection behind them.
Connect as many as you like; they all name the same connection.
Claude
A custom connector in Settings, nothing to install.
Claude Code
One command in the terminal, then /mcp to sign in.
Cursor
One entry in mcp.json, globally or in the repository.
VS Code
One entry under servers, or one code --add-mcp line.
Zed
One entry under context_servers in settings.json.
Windsurf
One entry with serverUrl in the Codeium config.
Terminal
The CLI itself, and a stdio bridge for clients without HTTP.
What it can do
Everything you could read yourself.
Recomputed on every call against your own permissions.
- →"What did I spend on hosting last quarter, by month?"
- →"Who owes whom after the trip, and what settles it?"
- →"Am I inside my budgets this month?"
- →"Book yesterday's 40 EUR taxi to Transport": writes land, and every one is reversible
Where the door stops
It reads and records. It does not move money.
The payment tools are not in the list, and are refused by name.
- →No payments, transfers, swaps or card details, ever
- →You tick which spaces the connection may reach, on Orla's own consent page
- →It takes no seat on your plan: a personal connection is not an agent
- →Everything it did is in the activity trail, and one click revokes it
The reason is narrower than caution. What a connection reads was partly written by strangers: payee names, notes, imported statement lines. If a prompt hidden in one of those ever gets through, it should reach a wrong bookkeeping entry, not a transfer. An agent that genuinely needs to pay is a different thing with its own wallet and its own limits, and it lives on the agents page.
