Everyone keeps their own login
A family space has its own accounts, categories, budgets and people, with roles from owner down to viewer. Your personal space is not part of it. Every other space is one you chose to join.
A split ledger for the trip
A group space stays small on purpose: shared expenses and who is in. Split equally, by weight, or by exact amounts, in any currency, fixed at that day's rate. Then the shortest set of payments that clears everyone.
Nudges that settle themselves
On a settle-up row, whoever is owed drops a pay link and picks where the money lands. Once it is paid, the balance updates on its own. Nobody has to chase.
A goal the family can chip into
A shared goal shows who put in what. Open it up and it gets a public page anyone with the link can add to. Useful for a group gift, or a kid's first car.
Lisbon, and nobody kept score
One space, one invite link. Everyone adds what they paid. On the flight home it already knows who owes whom.

Can my partner see my personal spending?
Only what you put in the shared space. Your personal space is invisible to everyone else, and moving a transaction into a shared one is always your own step.
Do the people I split with have to pay?
No. The subscription belongs to whoever owns the space and covers everyone in it. Members are never asked to pay to be in your book.
What happens to a shared space if I close my account?
You cannot close it while you are the only owner of one. The message names the spaces. Hand ownership over or delete them, then the account can go.
How do people join a space?
One invite link, good for seven days and revocable whenever you like. Whoever opens it signs up and lands straight in the group.
Can we split unevenly?
Yes. Equally, by weight when a couple counts as two, or by exact amounts. An expense can be in any currency and is fixed to the base at that day's rate.
